Ten questions, one number
Vitality Score
Sleep, steps, strength, plants, alcohol, friends, purpose, stress, daylight and breath. Ten honest answers give a score from 0 to 100 and a profile of the six pillars.
Move the sliders and watch the score respond. It is a simplified model of the habits with the best longevity evidence, not a diagnosis. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.
The score weights the habits by the strength of their evidence: sleep regularity and duration, daily steps and strength training, a plant-based plate, alcohol, social ties, purpose, stress and daylight. It rewards ordinary consistency over heroic effort, which is what the Blue Zones do. Use it once now, then again after a trip or a month of change.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Vitality Score medically valid?
No. It is an editorial model that reflects the direction and rough weight of the evidence. It cannot replace blood tests, a fitness test or a doctor.
Why is alcohol weighted so heavily?
Because the evidence for harm from regular drinking is strong and the Blue Zones drink little or, in Loma Linda, nothing. One glass with dinner costs few points; daily drinking costs many.
Can I share my score?
Yes. The share buttons create a link with your answers and a picture card. Answers are in the link only if you choose to share it.
