A 320 metre residential yacht with 122 homes and a health facility of 1,900 square metres: Chenot brings its approach to health and longevity on board ULYSSIA.
Health resorts usually stay where they are. Guests travel to a lake, a mountain or a coast and leave again a week later. The ULYSSIA project turns that around: the resort travels and the residents stay. Chenot, the wellness house behind the Chenot Palaces, will bring its approach to health and longevity aboard this 320 metre residential yacht.
A ship built as a home
ULYSSIA is less a cruise ship than a floating neighbourhood. The concept comes from the Swiss entrepreneur Frank Binder, the naval architecture from Espen Øino and the construction from the MEYER Yachts shipyard, while Francesca Muzio of FM Architettura leads the interiors. On board there will be 122 private residences and 22 guest suites, each customisable down to the finest detail with designers such as Sabrina Monte-Carlo and Jean-Michel Gathy. The residences are freehold and start at approximately €10 million, and the launch is expected in 2028 or 2029.
The idea is to unite a global community of explorers who want more than a route: discovery, culture and philanthropic work in conservation and preservation at every port of call.

1,900 square metres for health
What makes the project relevant for anyone interested in longevity is the weight it gives to health. As wellness partner, Chenot shapes a state-of-the-art facility of 1,900 m² on board, where residents get the same level of expertise and care as at Chenot Palaces around the world. The programme ranges from advanced diagnostics and personalised treatments to nutrition, sleep, fitness, detoxification, stress management and mental wellbeing.
The medical side goes further than a spa usually does. A full diagnostic suite will allow CT scans, MRI and X-rays on board, supported by doctors, dentists and medical specialists. For people who spend long stretches at sea, that is the difference between a pleasant routine and real preventive care.

Movement with a horizon
The basics of a long life are built into the ship. A 600 metre jogging track runs with panoramic ocean views, and there is a fully equipped gym and cardio centre, two padel and pickleball courts, a golf club with simulator and a yacht club with a wide choice of water toys. As ULYSSIA travels the globe, Chenot will curate immersive wellness experiences rooted in the character of each destination, so that exploring and recovering become part of the same day.

What it says about longevity travel
ULYSSIA is a project for very few people, and its launch is still years away. The direction it points to is worth noting anyway. Health is no longer a module added to luxury travel; it becomes the organising principle, with diagnostics, sleep and nutrition planned as carefully as the route. You do not need a residence at sea to try that idea. A week of fasting and reset follows the same logic on land, and our guide to fasting and reset journeys shows where it works best. Before you book, the Retreat Budget compares what such a week costs across fifteen destinations.
