Three days, four classes, one teacher: from 7 to 9 November 2026 the yoga instructor Adrienne Everett brings The Adrienne Method to Chiva-Som on the Gulf of Thailand.
Some retreats are built around a doctor, others around a teacher. From 7 to 9 November 2026, Chiva-Som in Hua Hin adds a guest teacher to its programme: the yoga instructor Adrienne Everett leads a three-day residency at the resort on the Gulf of Thailand, with four classes that are complimentary for all resort guests.
From the boardroom to the mat
Everett did not take the usual route to yoga. She worked at the highest levels of global finance and technology before yoga became her source of resilience, clarity and reconnection. Today she teaches internationally, founded HWH Studio Dubai, a boutique wellness concept, and created The Adrienne Method. She describes it as a heart-led practice that combines strength, fluidity, breath, musicality and emotional intention. Her classes are known for being physically challenging and deeply connective at the same time, a balance between strength and softness.

Four classes in three days
The residency moves from strength to stillness. It opens on Saturday 7 November at 8 am with Power Sculpt, a full-body session that combines controlled resistance training with mindful movement. On Sunday 8 November at 8 am follows The Adrienne Method itself, a dynamic vinyasa built on breath, rhythm and music and the centrepiece of the three days. At 5 pm the same day, Yoga Stretch slows things down with mindful stretching to release tension and improve mobility. The programme closes on Monday 9 November at 8 am with a Slow Vinyasa Flow that leaves more space between postures and more attention for the breath.
All four sessions are open to different levels of experience, and modifications are offered throughout. For anyone who has never practised vinyasa, that matters as much as the name of the teacher.
Why it fits Chiva-Som
The resort, whose name translates as Haven of Life, has spent more than three decades on a deeply personalised approach to holistic health. Guests choose among 16 all-inclusive retreats and build their programme with a personal Health and Wellness Advisor from six modalities: spa, fitness, physiotherapy, holistic health, nutrition and aesthetic beauty. Hundreds of treatments and therapies combine traditional healing systems with modern practice, and more than 200 trained staff, from therapists and trainers to chefs, look after each stay.

The residency extends that philosophy onto the mat. Movement is treated not simply as exercise but as a tool for building strength, awareness and a more intentional relationship with oneself, and the aim is that guests take simple practices home with them.
The residency offer
Guests who book with the code CSADRIENNE2026 receive early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability, plus a complimentary lunch or dinner. Stays of seven nights or more add a wellness credit of THB 4,500++ per person and stay. The privileges apply to bookings and stays through 28 February 2027.

Our take
Three days are short, but they make a good opening for a longer stay. If you are planning a yoga trip, put the residency at the start of your week and use the remaining days to carry the practice into a retreat programme. Our guide to yoga and mind retreats explains what such a week can do for body and head, and the Jet Lag Planner helps you arrive in Thailand rested enough for an 8 am class.
